The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Paradise Valley is launching the second release of their new homes. The 122-acre, master-planned project, includes a 200-room Ritz-Carlton resort that will be surrounded by 81 single-level villas and 39 single-family estate homes. The ultra exclusive resort community is located in Paradise Valley close to Scottsdale and Lincoln Roads with stunning Camelback and Mummy Mountain views. The thirty-nine luxury homes will become available for purchase in July, with registration starting this week. The homes are priced from $5 million and range from 5500-12,000 square feet. Floor plans will include a gourmet kitchen, optional prep kitchens, 3-5 bedrooms, large entertaining spaces, and optional upper levels.
One of the most luxurious options available is an auto showcase gallery. A homeowner’s exotic vehicle can be displayed on the lower level of the home. Auto galleries are a new hot trend in the luxury market. Homes in The Village at Seven in Desert Mountain will also have optional enclosed collector car showrooms.
The previous release of the Villas at The Ritz-Carlton sold out quickly. The combination of the unbeatable location, reputation of The Ritz-Carlton and the demand for new construction in PV accelerated the sales of the homes. I expect these homes will sell very quickly as well. There is pent up demand for smaller, newer homes in Paradise Valley. The trend in PV has completely shifted away from the enormous 10,000+ square feet mansions to smaller, luxury living. Many homeowners that I have spoken to are downsizing to a more manageable sized home to give them the freedom to travel.
It is clear why these homes are selling so well. Living at a Ritz-Carlton resort comes with an elevated level of services and amenities. The homes are marketed as a “resort within a resort” with its own junior Olympic sized-pool, gorgeous landscaping, a dedicated concierge and home managers. Homeowners can utilize any of the other resort facilities including room service, concierge, spa, restaurants, and housekeeping. The Ritz-Carlton hotel will have North America’s longest resort pool at 400 feet, a 15,000 square foot luxury spa, an extensive fitness center, indoor/outdoor meeting spaces, a citrus orchard, an herb garden, several walking paths and a lush event lawn with perfect views of Camelback Mountain.
