Scottsdale Foreclosure Statistics for March 2012

My goal is to give you as much solid information as possible about current market conditions. I want you to make your decisions based on facts, not rumors. Here are the latest statistics for Scottsdale foreclosures

1. Active Notices of trustee sale for residential properties as of the end of February 2012 were 17,331 units. Up from last month of 16,955 by a total of 376 properties. This is the first month in a year that we have seen an increase in active notices after 13 months in a row of decreases.   This is down from the all time high of December 2009 of 47,606.

2.  Residential Foreclosures were at there all time high in March 2010 at 5,451. There were only 2104 residential foreclosures last month. This was down by 449 units from January.

3. The residential foreclosure properties are sitting at 7,909 vs. last month of 8,539. Down 630 units from last month! February of 2011 there were 20,076 foreclosure properties, down 61%! Listed foreclosures properties are approximately 1588 units and pending are 1425.
