Resort Style Golf at the Boulders

The Boulders is a unique golfing experience where resort-style amenities are combined with stunning landscapes. The Boulders is a semi-private golf club, with two 18-hole golf courses, located at the Boulders Resort and Spa. The resort is an upscale Curio Collection by Hilton property. Both golf courses were designed by Jay Morrish and offer spectacular views of massive boulders and cactus, set against mountain views. It is one of the most striking landscapes in all of Arizona. The South course is the resort course, open to the public.  It is a difficult course, in true desert golf fashion with narrow fairways and lots of rock hazards. The massive 12 million year old boulders are set throughout the South course to the delight of guests. The North course is private and strictly for golf members and their guests. It is also a beautiful course that is a little bit more forgiving than the South course, with wider fairways and greens.

The initiation fee for a Boulders golf membership is $80,000. It is a non-equity club so there are no assessments and golf members are refunded $20,000 upon resignation. Golf members have a unique situation at the Boulders with the use of the the private course, and full access to all of the resort amenities with charging privileges. Within the resort there are 5 restaurants, 5 tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, 3 swimming pools, 2 fitness centers and an array of fitness classes that are complementary for the membership.  Members also enjoy a wide variety of golf leagues and social events.

The Social membership has a $21,000 initiation fee and includes all of the resort amenities, restaurants, tennis courts, pickleball courts, swimming pools, fitness centers, and charging privileges. The social membership also has some limited golf privileges. Social members are allowed unlimited golf in the summers, at the member guest rate which is $75, and 6 rounds per member in peak season. The clubhouse membership has a $15,000 initiation fee and provides access to all of the resort amenities, with no golf privileges.
