Realtor.com has published its Annual Housing Forecast for 2017 and has predicted that Phoenix will be the hottest market in the entire country this year. Their economists have analyzed the top 100 metropolitan markets in the US and Phoenix made the top of the list for appreciation and 
growth. The western United States, in general, will have a much better appreciation than the east. Western cities make up 11 out of the top 25 spots. Phoenix is predicted to have average price gains of 5.94%. This compares to the national average of 3.9%. The sales growth in Phoenix is expected to 7.24% compared to the anticipated national growth of 1.9%. That is a huge difference!
