The following is information about the Phoenix Foreclosures notices for September 2011
1. Active Notices of default for residential properties as of the end of August 2011 were 22,733 units. Down from last month of 23,302. This is the 9th month in a row that we have seen decreases in the number of Active Notices. Down from the all time high of December 2009 of 47,606.
2. Foreclosures were at their all time high in March 2010 at 5,451. Residential foreclosures were 3399 last month. This was up slightly from the month before.
3. The residential REO properties are sitting at 14,480 vs. last month of 15,854. Listed properties are approximately 3,129 units and pending plus AWC sales are 4078. That tells us that there is approximately 7,273 properties that are foreclosed but not yet on the market.
The purple line indicates the Active Residential Notices for Foreclosures from 08/2009 to 08/2011 in Phoenix AZ. The number of Foreclosures Notices have been decreasing steadily in Phoenix, AZ.
