Troon North Golf Club to host Junior Golf Clinics this May

Troon has recently announced Player Development Month in conjunction with PGA of America’s Get Golf Ready program. Across the U.S., Troon Golf Academies, private golf clubs and Troon facilities, including Troon North Golf Club will be hosting Junior Golf Clinics and activities to introduce beginners and youth to the game of golf in a fun and affordable way.

Each clinic at Troon North Golf Club will run for a minimum of 60 minutes, with no more than 10 students per instructor. Adults can participate in most events for only $20, while those under the age of 18 are free. Participants will also be given the opportunity to register for a Get Golf Ready program, which will include five instructional classes starting at $99.

With Get Golf Ready, adults with little or no experience with the game can learn various techniques regarding putting, chipping, half swing, full swing and bunker play, along with the basics of how to use and maintain equipment, navigate the course, and keep score. Lessons also include fun tidbits such as the game’s history, etiquette and lingo.
