If you have missed the first four concerts of the free summer concert series, held at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park near McCormick Ranch, there are still six more you can catch. The series will continue through July 7th, with a concert every Sunday evening. Last Sunday, park visitors enjoyed some Retro 80s jams from Rock Lobster. Upcoming bands include Groove Merchants, The JJ’s, Static, Georgia Chrome, Cold Shot and the Hurricanes and Mogollon.
The next concert at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is taking place this coming Sunday at 7:30pm. Make sure to bring chairs or a blanket so you can kick back while enjoying the sounds of local show band Groove Merchants. You might also plan to spend the day enjoying the park’s attractions with your family. Take a train ride through the park on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad, or check out the exhibits. Exclusively for the free concert series, train and carousel rides will remain open through concerts. Rides are $2 per person, and children under three are free.
