The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort is a AAA Five-Diamond award-winning hotel and spa with many amenities. The Princess is known for its sparkling decorations around the holidays. The resort features a lot more than just lights though. In late November, the resort is transformed into a winter wonderland that can be enjoyed by all ages. This year, the resort has a four-story Christmas tree that is lit with more than 67,000 lights. For an even bigger light show, hop on the Princess Express Train that will take you on a ride throughout the Lagoon where you will see more than 2 million dazzling lights. These lights create a candy cane forest, swans on the lake, giant poinsettias, a teddy bear, a pirate ship, reindeer, and much more. In the resort’s Fragrance Garden, there is a ten minute light show featuring the story of Christmas. You don’t want to miss ice skating on the resort’s very own rink. If you would rather stay on the sidelines, fire pits with s’mores and blankets can be reserved. On certain days, there will be ice skaters from Ice Den Scottsdale showcasing their skills in a choreographed musical show. You can also enjoy festive shopping at The Christmas Shoppe at Kringle’s Korner. The resort’s boutiques will have everything from ornaments to snow globes. Lastly, go for a ride on the glittering Christmas Carousel. There is so much to do at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess this holiday season.
You don’t have to be a guest at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess to partake in its magical winter celebration. Parking for non-hotel guests is $30 per vehicle or $40 for valet. (This includes admission for up to 10 people per vehicle.)
