Barrett-Jackson auto auction is back for another great year. “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auction” includes over $100 million of rare collector cars each year. It attracts visitors from around North America. You have the opportunity to see some of the finest cars in the world. This year there are 1950 cars on the docket for sale. Cars are auctioned off on a daily basis, with the most expensive cars being sold on the final weekend. The quality of cars just gets better and better each year.
One of the highlights this year is a collection of 21 vehicles owned by the “Fast and the Furious” actor, Paul Walker. Also attracting attention is a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado with impressive rear fins, a replica of Lightning McQueen, a 1969 Lamborghini Islero S (one of only 100 ever made), and a 2003 Saleen S7 signed by Steven Saleen.
The show isn’t just for collectors. Several Hollywood celebrities usually attend the auction, but anyone who appreciates the beauty of a fine automobile will have fun. The show runs January 11-19th at Westworld in North Scottsdale.
