Get ready for the 60th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show at WestWorld. There will be majestic horses 
prancing, trotting and galloping around the ring, vying for the ultimate title in their class. The biggest horse show in Arizona will be here from February 12 through February 22. There are plenty of fun events to partake in besides the different shows themselves. Behind the Scenes Barn Tours are offered several times throughout the horse show to give you a look at where the horses get ready for their big events. The tour guide will also give you information about the history of the horse show, Arabian horses and much more. This one hour tour will allow you to see many of these beautiful horses and their owners up close and personal. Children especially love Meet an Arabian Horse events, also held several times throughout the horse show. The Arabian horses will be dressed up in their costumes, and children have the opportunity to sit on the horse for a photo. This is such an exciting event for little ones who love horses! Another fun event that children will love is the Paint-a-Pony. The first 400 children can paint ceramic horses absolutely free. There will be other events as well such as classes regarding Sport Horses and international halters.
The Arabian Horse Show is a shopper’s paradise. Artisans from all over the country come to display their works- from handmade horse tapestries and paintings to purses to horse carriages. With so much to choose from, you are sure to find something beautiful.
General admission to the horse show is $10 per day for children and adults over 12. If you would like reserved bleacher tickets to see the horse show from up close, tickets are $15 for the day. For those who are interested in box seats for the entire show, tickets are $250.
