Fantastic news for anyone seeking a new luxury condo in a fantastic location! Valley developer, Optima, has plans to build new luxury Scottsdale condos and a boutique hotel on the northwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Kierland Boulevard, just north of Kierland Commons.
Optima purchased the 9-acre site, which previously housed a Robb & Stucky furniture store, for around $11 million. The project, named Optima Center Kierland, includes the construction of four 12-story buildings above a 2-level subterranean parking structure. Three of the buildings will be for residential use, containing 693 luxury Scottsdale condos, along with residents’ clubs and event rooms in each. The hotel will house 286 units and connect to one of the three apartment structures through a shared fitness center. Also included in the plans for Optima Center Kierland are a restaurant, conference center and spa.
The towers will be built to mirror the developer’s downtown Scottsdale complex, Optima Camelview, sporting its signature glass and concrete look. Green roof technology will also be a key design element in the construction of these contemporary buildings.
